All files submitted to RocketPostcards.com are prepared correctly and are ready to print.

All bitmap files are saved as either (a) Tiff or (b) Photoshop EPS format. Photoshop 6 files have been saved with vector information rasterized.

All bitmap files have a sufficient resolution for printing: Color and grayscale files are between 250 and 350 dpi, black/white bitmap files are between 600 and 1200 dpi.

All files (vector or bitmap) are either CMYK or grayscale. No RGB files exist in any bitmap files, vector files, or embedded files. Pantone and spot colors have been converted to CMYK process. RocketPostcards.com reserves the right to convert any RGB, LAB, or grayscale files to CMYK.

All fonts in vector eps files (Illustrator, Freehand) have been outlined and embedded upon saving.

All type is a minimum of 1/8th inch from all edges to conform with trim guidelines. If trim is closer than 1/8th inch, it is a design decision, and as such, RocketPostcards.com is not liable for any trim violations that may occur. Borders that are 1/4" wide or less are considered critical trim and incur an additional production fee of $20. We cannot process jobs which have critical trim on both front AND back.

All file formats used in the design other than Tiff or EPS (JPEG, GIF, PNG, etc) may not print correctly and are being used as a design decision, and as such, RocketPostcards.com is not liable for any printing issues that may occur.

Turnaround and shipping times may be affected by the quality of the submitted files.

Rich black has been used in the creation of any design element whose area exceeds 1/8th inch horizontal, 1/8th inch vertical. Rich black has been used for font sizes larger than 14 points. Black type over colored backgrounds has been set to overprint. RocketPostcards.com reserves the right to convert plain blacks to rich blacks where necessary.
