Tiff and Photoshop EPS files
Bitmap files should be 300 dpi (dots-per-inch)
CMYK color mode
Layers must be flattened
Do not use Alpha Channels
Vector data must be rasterized
Do not save tiff files with LZW compression
To reduce file size you can save EPS files with JPEG Maximum compression, this should be avoided if there are large blocks of color or text over white. JPEG compression removes data info and in these specific cases, artifacts may occur reducing print quality.
